Welcome to our community event, Code for IBM i Fridays—The European Edition.
This online event takes place once a month—on a Friday—and is aimed at anyone who is passionate about IBM i, RPG/Cobol, and Code for i, whose schedule aligns better with our time zone, and who would like to learn about others’ news, experiences, questions, and challenges, or share their own experiences and, if applicable, VS Code extensions.
Since this is a European Edition, the event will be held in English.
Of course, participants from outside Europe are also welcome.

What is that?
- THE Community Event for VS Code and Code for IBM i
- One hour each month is dedicated to Code for i and other VS Code extensions for IBM i
- Anyone interested can participate online for free
- New features related to VS Code for IBM i will be demonstrated and discussed
- If you have any issues or questions regarding these topics, you can post them here, and if possible, they will be resolved immediately or at least forwarded to the developers and, if necessary, the manufacturer.
- Participants will share their experiences—we encourage everyone to join in!
- Well-known and lesser-known figures from the IBM i community will also be participating and sharing some behind-the-scenes insights.
- From time to time, we will welcome a celebrity or two from IBM and other companies as guests
- etc.
